End of Week 14

Hi everyone

Please keep the family of teacher Carla Cavaco (Afonso) in your prayers on the loss of her father, Joachim Afonso, due to a tragic car accident. Her mother continues to recover from injuries sustained in the accident. If so desired, donations may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre or Mackenzie Health Cronic Kidney Disease Program.

We held our grade 8 parent information night last night, and met and welcomed many of our future Tigers. We don't have exact numbers yet, but it looks like we will see another significant increase in enrolment next year. If you know someone with a high school aged teen who is moving to Bradford please have them contact us at their earliest opportunity.

We will be sending home Final Communication Letters to parents via email next week. Please watch for them as they contain important information about your teen's achievement as we approach the end of the semester.

Thank you to everyone for donating to our winter clothing drive. Today was the final day so we will have an update on the total raised next week. Many people in Bradford will be much warmer and more comfortable this winter thanks to you! Thanks to Ms. Fabiano and the Social Justice Team for coordinating this event.

Another reminder about Christmas Activity Day. Be sure that you sign your teen up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Some activities have hard caps on them due to venue size/capacity. We cannot add extra students if the venue doesn't permit.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and warm weekend!

God Bless
